Role Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly skilled and motivated Project Building Surveying Team Leader to join our Asset Team in the Repairs and Investment Section. Reporting to the Principal Officer - Investment and Programme Delivery, you will play a lead role in the successful management of all aspects of our work streams such as kitchens, bathrooms, aids and adaptations and external works.
With the ability to successfully work in partnership, you will ensure that our customers’ objectives around high quality, communication, and customer care are met. Ensuring that programmes are delivered on time, within agreed budgets and that key performance indicators are met.
The role requires the candidate to demonstrate substantial experience and good knowledge of Health & Safety and relevant statutory legislation and hold an appropriate qualification in property / housing maintenance as set out in the person specification.
You will also have experience of managing and supervising a small team of surveyors and administration support staff. Confident and resilient with the ability to deal with changing demand along with a sound commercial awareness and financial experience. Possessing effective organisational, planning and report writing skills, able to drive to undertake site visits.
