This role supports the Head of Building Control by overseeing over 1,500 annual Building Regulation applications, including pre-application meetings, fee management, and application processing.</p><p>The Assistant Head will ensure high-quality service delivery, manage substantial capital investments of £1 billion annually, and contribute to Council-wide initiatives. Responsibilities include delivering a high-quality Building Control Service, managing budgets of £1 million in revenue and multimillion-pound work programmes, and collecting the Building Safety Levy.
