This is an exciting new opportunity to join Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council as a Deputy Revenues and Benefits Manager.
We are looking for candidates who already have experience in either Revenues or Benefits, and who are eager to broaden their skills and managerial expertise across both areas. This newly created role offers the chance to further your career development, with support to gain further IRRV qualifications.
As Deputy Revenues and Benefits Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the management and operation of our revenues and benefits services. You will deputise for the Revenues and Benefits Manager as required, including attending member meetings, ensuring smooth day-to-day service delivery, and contributing to strategic initiatives. This is a career graded position, which means you will have the opportunity to progress and develop within the role.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrable managerial or supervisory experience within a Revenue and/or Benefits team, with a desire to expand your knowledge across both disciplines.
- IRRV qualification at a minimum of Technician level with a commitment to working towards gaining further IRRV qualifications (if not already attained) sponsored by the Council.
