A Teacher of History with RS to cover a maternity leave – full time – 1.0 FTE - September 2025

Required for September 2025, a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of History in KS3&4 with the ability to teach Religious Studies (RS) at KS3 to cover a maternity leave at this successful 11-18 girls’ grammar school in Reading. Both subjects are taught throughout the school to students who are highly motivated, creative, and engaged.
This position would suit a recently qualified teacher or more experienced teacher who is able to impart passion and enthusiasm for the subjects to highly motivated, creative and engaging students. Kendrick School has a very good track record of developing ECTs and the successful candidate would be joining supportive and experienced departments.
Both History and RS are popular and highly valued subjects at Kendrick School. Many students take these subjects further at GCSE, A Level and at university.
