The Role: 

• For the role of UASC Social Worker, you will be a qualified and Social Work England registered and experienced Children's Social Worker
• As a UASC Social Worker, you will have a robust career background in looked after children and children in care, with sound knowledge and understanding of all children’s legislation, particularly in housing and immigration law, statutory guidance and processes, ready to specialise in this service

• As a Social Worker, you will be working with young people who have been through the most traumatic experiences as a UASC Social Worker, so you will need to have the empathic interpersonal skills to understand their background and identify and provide the specific support they need

• As a skilled social worker, you will have the drive, dedication and passion to deliver excellent services and improves outcomes to ensure a positive difference and brighter future for our children and young people of Liverpool

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service and up to date registration with Social Work England as a qualified Social Worker.
