All elements of level A listed within the person specification are essential. Through your induction you will be introduced to the Career Progression Framework (CPF), which will help you to identify your areas of strength and any development needs.  </p><p>Do you want to be part of an innovative and forward-thinking team in Public Health?</p><p>Are you passionate about health improvement and tackling health inequalities?</p><p>Do you want to make a difference?</p><p>If so, we want to hear from you.</p><p>Medway Public Health is looking to recruit a highly motivated and dynamic Senior Project Officer to support the business of the Combatting Drugs Partnership (CDP) to reduce alcohol related harm and drug and alcohol related deaths.  </p><p>The CDP is a statutory partnership bringing together key stakeholders from Council, Health, VCSE, Criminal Justice, Youth Services etc to ensure there is a locally joined up approach to deliver strategic aims of 10-year national drugs strategy: breaking drug supply chains, delivering a world-class treatment and recovery system, and achieving a shift in the demand for drugs.</p><p>The postholder will take a public health approach to reducing harm looking to legislative levers such as alcohol licensing as well as looking at evidence base and learning from alcohol and drug related deaths to drive improvement. </p><p>The postholder will work with a broad range of staff and stakeholders across Medway to promote health improvement.  The role will require the ability to build positive working relationships with statutory and partner agencies as well as supporting Members of the licensing committee.
