Non-teaching Head of Year 7

We are looking to recruit a resilient, committed, energetic and highly motivated individual to lead and manage the new Year 7 cohort, ensuring a smooth transition from Year 6 to secondary school.  This position is a full time, non-teaching role.  You will work closely with primary schools, parents/legal guardians and external agencies to facilitate an effective transition, as well as providing professional leadership to Form Tutors and support staff, setting high expectations and modelling the school’s ethos.  The role will also involve ensuring the mental health, wellbeing and pastoral care of all Year 7 students are monitored, providing appropriate guidance, support and challenge along with overseeing pastoral management, including behaviour, attendance and safeguarding for the Year 7 cohort.
