With a passion and enthusiasm for helping vulnerable individuals and families, you will assist the Temporary Accommodation Manager in maintaining the standard and availability of temporary accommodation. This will involve carrying out Health and Safety checks at the accommodation sites, and report any issues or problems identified.
You will be the first point of contact for customers and help to deal with issues that arise and be responsible for signing households up to accommodation.
You will liaise with the Housing Options officers to help individuals and families move on to longer term accommodation.

- Excellent customer service skills, and the ability to deal with households from a range of backgrounds, including those displaying challenging and/or aggressive behaviour,
- The confidence and capability to carry out a range of tasks within a limited amount of time, prioritising the welfare of the customer and their household in all cases,
- The ability to work well independently, whilst understanding the benefits of team working and partnership working
