The Governors of Hudson Primary School and Family Wellbeing Centre seek to make the appointment of a Early Help Worker to join our existing team working across our community.
The role is to start in September 2025 working 36 hrs per week term time only plus one week (INSET days or other days as directed by your manager). The role will be offered as a fixed term position until 31st August 2026.
Salary: Grade G (£31,586.00 - 35,235.00) pay award pending and actual pay is pro-rata to reflect the term time plus one week working aspect of the role.
You would be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, Young people (0-19), their families and adults by delivering high quality interventions, acting as their single point of contact, coordinating a holistic, temporary offer of support focusing on outcomes.
You would deliver activities the appropriate models and frameworks to engage, empower and enable residents to take ownership of their own solutions and develop resilience.
You would promote engagement of the universal offer through the community, voluntary and faith Sector organisations.
The successful candidate will have:
- A flexible approach to working
- A high level of care and competence.
- Practical and procedural knowledge of delivering support to individuals and families.
- Procedural and policy knowledge relative to assessments, case management and safeguarding. Significant experience of delivering support to individuals and families in one or more of the service areas within the localities model

Due to the nature of work the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding legislation and appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS).
