The Role
Knowsley Council are seeking an exceptional SEND Team Manager to join our Inclusion Team.
As SEND Team Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of statutory SEND functions including assessment, reviews, disagreement resolution, and placement planning. You will have line management responsibility of our dedicated SEND team, ensuring legal compliance, high-quality practice, and positive outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
You will be pivotal to driving forward service improvements within your area, working closely with the leadership team, as well as collaborating with families, settings and partner agencies to deliver high quality, person focused outcomes.
The Person
As SEND Team Manager you will be a dynamic thinker, with demonstrable experience working in SEND, either in education, social care, or health. You will have excellent knowledge of the Children and Families legislation with the ability to drive forward multi agency working and an understanding and commitment to person centred approaches.
