The Role:
- The role of Team Leader - Development Management will be based in one of our area teams within the Planning Service
- In the role of Team Leader - Development Management, you will be expected to lead Development Management Neighbourhood Team, including leading, mentoring, and developing staff, as well as championing the customer to achieve a modern, customer focused, business friendly service and to conserve the city's heritage whilst enabling sustainable development across the city
- As Team Leader for Development Management, you will be expected to lead and engage in the development of the service and its related policies and guidance, as well as on engagement with regeneration projects, providing expert development management and place-making advice
- The post of Team Leader - Development Management will take a lead role in working on and delivering neighbourhood priorities across the city
- The post holder, as Team Leader, will play a pivotal role in the Planning Service and will be expected to work closely with the Neighbourhoods Team and the wider City Development directorate team
