The Governors and Headteacher of Buglawton Primary School are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed individual to work across a variety of roles within the school. The role involves supervising lunchtime play (12-1pm), working as a Teaching Assistant (1 – 3.15pm) and supervising After School Club (3.15 – 6pm) each day.
The successful candidate will love working with children, be self-motivated and committed to providing the best childcare possible. On the playground, you will be responsible for promoting games and engaging with the children whilst ensuring that the school’s high standards of behaviour are always maintained. You will support small groups of children in a classroom environment to support progress and development. You will work with other school staff to ensure the smooth running of the After School Club so that children are safe and engaged.
In return, we can offer you a very supportive and friendly staff team who are committed and motivated to ensure that all our children strive to our motto to “be the best we can”. We offer a pension scheme with 21.5% employer contribution, a well-being Employee Assistance programme and annual statutory holiday pay of 5.8 weeks, on top of your 39 weeks, taken in term breaks.
A current certificate in Paediatric First Aid would be an advantage, but not essential.
Closing date: 12noon on Friday 6th June 2025. Interviews: Wednesday 11th June 2025; only candidates selected for interview will be notified.
