This role offers the chance to work with motivated pupils in a supportive, innovative environment and to develop professionally within a school culture that values challenge, creativity, and collaboration. We are seeking a committed team player ready to thrive in a setting where professional excellence and a passion for inclusive education go hand in hand.
The Role
As a KS2 Class Teacher, you will plan, deliver, and assess high-quality, engaging learning experiences tailored to meet the diverse needs of pupils. You will work closely with our dedicated team of teaching colleagues, phase leaders, the SEND team, and external agencies to create a vibrant, inclusive, and ambitious learning environment where every child can flourish.
You will be part of a committed KS2 team, working collaboratively to share best practice, innovate, and ensure that both staff and pupils are fully supported to thrive.
Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging lessons that inspire pupils and ensure excellent progress across the curriculum.
• Use a range of assessment strategies to accurately monitor, evaluate, and plan for pupil progress.
• Work closely with colleagues, parents, carers, and external professionals to support the holistic development of each child.
• Establish strong, positive relationships with pupils that promote high standards of behaviour and emotional well-being.
• Be committed to your own continuous professional development and to contributing to the professional learning of colleagues.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a passionate and resilient teacher who:
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or will achieve it by September 2025.
• Has experience of teaching within KS2, with strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom practice, with the ability to inspire and motivate all learners.
• Brings creativity, flexibility, and innovation to teaching practice.
• Has outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
• Is committed to inclusive education and ensuring that every pupil succeeds, regardless of background or need.
• Shows strong organisational and reflective skills, with the desire to continually improve practice.
• Displays empathy, enthusiasm, resilience, and a genuine passion for primary education.
What We Offer
- A supportive, ambitious, and collaborative staff team dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for pupils.
• Outstanding professional development opportunities, including leadership development and SEND training.
• A well-resourced, purpose-built learning environment within a forward-thinking, nurturing school setting.
• An inclusive, caring ethos where innovation, individuality, and creativity are celebrated.
