The Governors and Headteacher of Bickerton Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher with expertise, energy and commitment to join our fabulous team. We are a welcoming and friendly Church school that provides high-quality education for children aged 4-11. With our Christian vision of 'Life in all its fullness' at our core, we encourage all pupils to be the best they can be in all aspects of school life and to embrace opportunities as their journey continues so that they flourish and grow.

The school is situated in an idyllic rural location and Holy Trinity Church is just a short walk down the road. We are very fortunate to have extensive school grounds including two playgrounds, a large field, nature trail, woodland area, a garden and quiet, reflective area. Our school is a place full of happiness, discovery, and learning, with great relationships at its core.

We are looking for a teacher who will:
• Bring energy and passion for creating an inclusive classroom environment where children can thrive and grow, thus reflecting our School Christian vision statement: 'Life in all its fullness' (John 10:10).
• Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning
• Focus on building positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's wider curriculum.
• Fully embrace our Christian ethos and vision and support the spiritual development of our school family.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
• Maintain a safe and organised classroom that encourages creativity, independence and excellence for everyone. Desired requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
• Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment procedures.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience of teaching and assessing phonics.
• Experience of assessing and monitoring pupil progress, providing timely feedback to parents and other adults in school.
• A commitment to promoting Christian values and ethos, instilling values of respect, kindness, and compassion in the children

The post runs from September 2025 for one year initially, with the possibility of becoming permanent depending on pupil numbers the year after. The school has some flexibility with regard to what age group the appointed candidate will teach, although it will not be an EYFS post.
