The Post
We are looking to recruit 2 community link workers for children and families to work with other stakeholders (GPs, schools, public health team) to support children and families within Brent to lead healthier lifestyles and provide support with other social determinants (housing, cost of living) to tackle health disparities. This post will work across Brent with a focus on our deprived communities.
The Person
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic person preferably local to Brent to join our team, who can work closely with all stakeholders and the community to tackle Health Inequalities. This post will need to work directly with children and their families to understand some of the barriers faced by them and support in tackling them. An understanding of healthy lifestyle would be useful as the person will need to support children and families in making some lifestyle changes.
