Grade 4 (£25,584 - £27,711 per annum/pro rata
18.5 hours
An opportunity has arisen within the Organisational Development Section for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join a busy Payroll Team, your day-to-day activities will vary and focus around the processing of employment related data within the iTrent HR/Payroll system.
In your new role your duties will include the calculation and processing of all pay related items including all occupational/statutory elements such as sickness and maternity pays. You will facilitate new employee data within the Corporate HR/Payroll system including pre-employment processes such as Disclosure and Baring Service (DBS) checks.
You will provide support and assistance to employees and managers on all pay related aspects whilst adhering to current legislations.
You will have the flexibility to use your initiative and creativity to work on solutions to improve processes and the service offered to stakeholders.
Knowledge, skills and experience required for this role include:
- Experience of working within a HR/Payroll environment
- Ability to prioritise own workload to ensure deadlines are met
- Ability to communicate confidently both written and orally
- Excellent customer service skills
- IT literate
