Our Team:
The Highway Development Team ensure the quality, safety and sustainability of the Highways and Transport infrastructure serving new developments.
The role of Senior Engineer Highways Adoption is a vital part of this process, assessing developer’s detailed design proposals for new highway infrastructure, all the way through to construction approval on site and final adoption by the Council.
This is a fixed term position for 18 months
Hours: 37 per week
Your Contributions:
You will have degree or equivalent experience in an engineering or transport related discipline, along with a detailed and up to date knowledge of appropriate legislation and highway design standards and be able to apply this in all communications, working with developers to achieve high standards of development and protect the Council’s interests.
