The second part of this role will involve training to become a wellbeing advisor with on the job training and experience to support individuals to reduce their risk of long term health conditions: heart disease / stroke, cancer and type 2 diabetes. This will include one-to-one sessions and group work with clients and promotional work such as giving talks, attending events and taking an active role in health promotion campaigns. </p>\n<p>Referring/signposting people to relevant organisations will be key to this role and full training will be provided to the successful candidate.</p>\n<p><em>The successful postholder is subject to an Enhanced with Adults Barred List DBS check.</em></p>\n<p><strong>At Adur & Worthing, we are committed to supporting care leavers, in accordance with the Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000 and the Children and Social Work Act 2017.
