Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council is seeking a knowledgeable, motivated Strategy and Policy Officer to join the Transformation Team in this exciting brand new role.
With experience working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders you will work effectively across all council teams to support the development of their policies and strategies.You need to be a detail-orientated professional with an enthusiasm for seeking out information and data to evidence service delivery and monitor the effectiveness of our delivery plans.
The successful candidate will be a strong team player, with a track record of excellent written and verbal communication skills.No two days will be the same.
You will be based at our offices in Welwyn Garden City and will be expected to attend the office at least two days per week, subject to service needs demands.
The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential in this post.
