Position: Principal Housing Assets Officer
Permanent Contract
Full-time (37 hours per week)
Salary: AG9 - £48,474- £52,468 per annum plus essential car user allowance
Location: Leek & Buxton, Hybrid working
We have created an exciting new role of Principal Housing Assets Officer to join the Councils Asset Management Team to support the delivery of the Housing Revenue account with specific focus on strategy and delivery of the asset management plan to deliver corporate objectives and priorities.
The successful applicant will take the lead in implementing the Asset Management Strategy and oversee the delivery of the Asset Management Plan, including the development of a decarbonisation strategy to meet the Council's objectives around climate change.
You will have experience within either the public or the private sector in managing a diverse housing (HRA) property portfolio for operational purposes, with a track record of delivering an effective and efficient strategic management of all types of property assets including social housing. Knowledge of delivering asset management policy, strategic planning, option appraisal and business case development is an essential criteria.
To be successful in the role you will be driven to delivery high quality services to service uses, be able to develop collaborative relationships with partner organisations and be able to deal with conflict.
