It’s going to be an exciting couple of years at Tandridge District Council, as we will be investing in a significant programme of improvements to our community facilities and spaces; from parks and play areas to pavilions and sports facilities. This is a major set of projects that will have a positive impact on local residents and communities.

Who we’re looking for

Do you have great project management skills, experience and enjoy engaging with communities and partners and have a passion for improving local services and facilities? Can you manage budgets effectively, contractors efficiently and communicate in a way that brings people together from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives? Can you devise innovative solutions or practise your fine-tuned negotiation skills when challenges arise?

This is truly a one-off, inspiring role where you would get to work with communities to invest and develop assets that are key to and residents.  

What we offer

In addition to the stated pay we are offering membership and contributions towards the Local Government Pension Scheme, Hybrid working (requiring presence in the office for a minimum of two days per week) and Flexitime.

We offer a friendly working environment with on-site parking and proximity to Oxted Station.
