We are looking to recruit a Resident Engagement and Insight Officer. The postholder would be responsible for ensuring tenant engagement is embedded into the operations of the Housing Services department so that tenants are integral to the design and delivery of housing services. You will ensure that there are a range of methods and opportunities for engagement and involvement, and will engage vulnerable, hard to reach groups to encourage inclusivity and also promote and facilitate improved relationships between the Council and communities across the District.
You will need good communication skills as well as the ability to work on own initiative and collaboratively as part of the wider Housing team. You will also need to plan and undertake your own work programme and be able to switch between a variety of tasks. Having an understanding of the importance of tenant and resident engagement and knowledge of different methods to utilise would be an advantage.
The ability to use Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel and Outlook in order to create reports and correspondence is essential. You should hold GCSE’s in Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalent vocational or academic experience) and have experience of working in social housing or related field.
