About the role
St Michael's is a village school with a big sense of community, founded on our Christian Values of Love, Honesty, Forgiveness and Respect. Our aim is to inspire every learner through high quality, interactive and stimulating contexts. The school is in the picturesque village of Playden, which is close to the ancient Cinque Port town of Rye in East Sussex. We believe this, and our school setting provides many unique learning experiences. As a result, we have a school full of enthusiastic children and staff who cannot wait to share what makes St Michaels's special.
The school entered into a partnership with Brede Primary in September 2023 and both schools are working together to share resources, expertise and workload. We are looking to appoint a Key Stage 1 class teacher from January 2023 (or as soon as possible thereafter) to join our friendly, passionate team. This is an exciting time to be joining St Michael's with a host of professional development opportunities available as we develop our partnership.
If you are interested in working with our friendly, welcoming team, please make an appointment to have a look around.
For more information and to arrange a visit to the school please contact: Sarah Bulgin via the school office at:
