An exciting opportunity has arisen for registered Social Workers to work within the North Somerset Single Point of Access Team. Various hours are currently available up to full time.

The Single Point of Access service provides timely advice, information and triage of referrals received to adult care and community health services, in addition to community based care management clinics. Single Point of Access is recognised as critical in the delivery of effective, time sensitive services to the residents of North Somerset and we are continuing to develop the service further to ensure we are achieving excellent outcomes for all.

About the role

You would be working within a diverse team of Health and Social Care professionals and support colleagues. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Social Worker with the ability to meet timescales and deadlines, maintain responsibility for their own workload, effectively risk assess and make timely decisions for complex situations. We are currently developing our strengths based, proportionate approach to assessment to actively enabling choice and independence for residents.  If you are interested in playing a key part in this developing service, we would like to hear from you.

Your personal and professional development is important to us. We offer regular supervision and training opportunities to support your professional development and maintain registration requirements including professional forum and leadership from our Principal Social Worker.
