We are seeking to appoint an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant level 3 to join our highly committed and supportive staff team from January 2023 to April 2023.

The hours are:

TA3 -

  • Monday to Friday: 8.45am-12/12.15pm
  • Monday to Friday: 1/1.15pm-3.30pm

MDSA -

  • Monday to Friday: 30 minutes lunch supervision

Expectations of the role:

  • To contribute to a wide range of teaching and learning activities, including class based work, group teaching and individual pupil support in order to assist and support the work of qualified teachers
  • To work within the statutory frameworks relevant to the role

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience of working with EYFS aged children (2 to 5 years) in a nursery or school setting.
  • Have a good level of literacy and mathematical skills
  • Be dedicated to providing, a secure and inspiring learning environment where children can thrive
  • Be effective in establishing positive, professional relationships with pupils, staff and parents
  • Be able to assist in the planning and preparation of resources
  • Be responsible for key children, keeping records, planning their next steps, making observations and providing feedback to parents in relation to children's progress and achievement
