Do you want to work in a new Multi-Disciplinary Team of staff, working in the heart of the community and having a wealth of key services working together as one team?

If this sounds interesting to you, we are looking for someone to work within a new team in Knowsley. We are expanding our Family Hub offer to deliver a ‘Family Help Multi-Disciplinary Team’. The team you will be a part of will consist of Social Workers, Family Help workers, Family Support Workers, Early Help Coordinator and Family Connectors. The team will grow as more partners such as Domestic Abuse, Health, Housing is engaged.

Within the role as an advanced social worker, you will work with families referred into the team who live in the Northwood area to empower, support, and achieve helping them reach their goals with making the lives of children happier, healthier, and safe. You will use yourself and the team around you to become the intervention, ensuring a working ‘with’ approach to enable sustainable changes to the community of Northwood. Within this role you will also be a great source of support to the Team Manager and deputise in their absence.

An innovative approach to Social work is welcomed and you will have space to share your thinking as part of the hub weekly meeting.

You will have the benefit of working with families who need support from Early Help through to Child Protection work to ensure that children have the right plan of support at the right time, delivered by the most appropriate member of the multi-disciplinary team depending on the needs of the family.
