Carre's Grammar School is looking to appoint an Active School Coordinator (Sport and Physical Activity Coach)

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our thriving Community Sport team.

  • Do you understand the power of an active school and how physical activity can improve attainment, wellbeing and society as a whole?

This will be through the delivery of high-quality Physical Education lessons, active English/Maths curriculum interventions and excellent sport opportunities through extra-curricular activities.

The role covers delivery across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Some training will be provided alongside an expectation that the successful candidate will be committed to continuous professional development and personal reflection. A National Governing Body level 2 qualification is essential, although applicants will be considered if they are working towards one of these already.

This role is 29 hours a week. An annual leave allocation will be given and it is requested that this is taken during the school holidays to minimise disruption to our partners.

A typical week will be based a number of different primary settings and, due to the rural nature of the area, the successful applicant will be required to get themselves between sites. A mileage allowance is payable in addition to the salary.
