About the role
You will provide high quality insurance advice and support across all levels of the organisation, administer the council’s insurance arrangements, provide cost-effective claims handling, and assist with the production of the Corporate Risk Register.
About you
This role operates with a large degree of independence so you will need to have sufficient related experience and understanding of insurance and risk within the public sector, as well as the ability to operate pro-actively and on your own initiative. You will also have excellent organisational skills, a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to build effective working relationships across the organisation swiftly.
