Regeneration Project Support Officer
About Us
We are looking for a motivated Project Support Officer to join the Regeneration Team to provide administrative, invoice & finance processing and organisational support to the delivery of a variety of projects from large scale developments to town centre initiatives.
The team has a large and exciting agenda, delivering the Regeneration priorities of the Council across the town. The work is fast paced and involves activities across many different projects, often with competing deadlines. The successful applicant will be comfortable working as part of a team but also able to work on their own initiative to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
The role will be fully supported by the Project Management Office (PMO) Supervisor & Regeneration Programme Management and will assist with compliance, audit and governance procedures across all programmes of delivery and be part of the important project assurance functions.
Ideally you will have organisational, financial, and administrative experience in a busy environment, used to prioritising your activity and will be confident working with a range of colleagues both internally and externally.
You may be required to work outside of office hours such as evenings and weekends to carry out and support consultation events.
This role would suit someone wishing to develop a career in Project and Programme Management and development and training will be provided to the successful candidate.
For an informal discussion about this role, please contact Suzanna Wood, Regeneration Programme Manager (PMO), on 01279 446448
