Project & Programme Manager (Fixed Term)
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced project and programme manager to join West Berkshire Council’s new Transformation and Programme (T&P) Team within Customer Engagement & Transformation (CET).
The Council has ambitious plans to transform services through innovative new projects and programmes. This role will be integral to these ambitions, providing expert project and programme management advice to Officers, Members and governance groups about their successful implementation.
You should be educated to degree level or have compensatory experience. You must be an experienced project or programme manager with excellent written and numerical skills as the postholder will be expected to write reports and undertake financial analysis. You must also be confident and capable of working under significant pressure and to tight deadlines on a number of projects at the same time.
You will be working directly with senior elected Members and Officers across the Council, so must be confident in negotiating timelines and resourcing issues.
