Our team arranges and administers Direct Payments to Adult Social Care clients to allow them to pay towards their assessed care and support services. We help the most vulnerable people in East Sussex to ensure they receive the correct level of financial assistance towards care and support. We provide support to clients of Adult Social Care, the Public and Adult Social Care practitioners.
The key tasks of the role are:

We are looking for someone who can work on their own initiative, be organised, self-motivated, collaborative, empathic and understand the needs of vulnerable people. Experience is not required and full on the job training will be provided.
We are working in a hybrid approach, which means that we will support you to work remotely if you wish to, although some time in the office is required, this could be minimal and will be subject to agreement with your line manager. You will be fully supported within your probationary year which will include face-to-face support within the team and remotely by a ‘buddy’.
If you are successful, you will benefit from access to on-going training as well as excellent standards of support and supervision. In addition to these, you will also receive 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays, 2 concessionary days at Christmas and a generous pension scheme.
