An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced individual to join Lincolnshire County Council's Children's Services as a Job Coach based at our Spalding site for 18.5 hours per week.

About the Role

This role will require you to build relationships and work closely with schools, colleges and employers across the county to fulfil the Local Supported Employment initiative.

Working as a Job Coach provides a genuine opportunity to make a difference and have a positive impact on people's lives.

About You

It is essential that you hold the following:

  • NVQ level 2 Health/Social Care/ Employment related/ Careers Advice and Guidance
  •  Some form of teaching qualification or prepared to work towards a qualification i.e. PTTLS
  • TSI training

 

We are looking for someone who can be proactive, work autonomously, is keen to further develop their skills and has experience of providing employment support. 

You will also need to demonstrate;

  • Knowledge & promotion of the ethics and values to the individuals you will be working with.
  • Knowledge of employment support
  • High standards of person-centred working.
  • The ability to empathise and listen
  • Expertise to build and maintain trust & rapport.
