Apprentice Administrator
We currently have a full time vacancy for an Administrator within Adult Social Care based in Market Street, Newbury. The role is to support the Adult Social Care team by carrying out general office and administrative duties including minute taking, correspondence, filing, maintaining office supplies, data inputting and processing, finance processing and personnel recording. You will be responding to, and dealing appropriately with, enquiries received via phone, post, electronically or in person including assisting customers who may be elderly, distressed or have disabilities/impairments. Working collaboratively with others will be key.
The role sits within the West Locality Team which is a very busy and friendly team that include Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Social Care Practitioners, supported by an administration team who report to the Administration Officer.
You should have excellent communications skills, good Microsoft Office skills and be able to work flexibly as part of a team as well as independently.
After successfully passing your probation period, you'll dive into a dynamic Level 3 Apprenticeship program on Business Administration to further develop your skills.
The hours of this role are full time but we are willing to consider part time hours for the right candidate.
