Civil Enforcement Officer
The role of the Civil Enforcement Officer is to support the objectives of the Councils parking strategy and South Yorkshire’s local transport plan by enforcing the decriminalised parking regulations that control the parking of vehicles throughout the borough.
To qualify as a Civil Enforcement Officer, you will have to complete a training course to ensure that you have both the procedural and legislative knowledge to carry out the role. This will enable enforcement activity to be carried out in a consistent and effective manner. You are also required to hold full U.K driving license which enables you to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
Excellent communication and basic IT skills are an essential part of the role.
The role requires that you work independently and using your initiative within agreed procedures to ensure the delivery of the service in a professional manner.
The role will require that you are able to work in all weathers and carry out winter maintenance of the car parks
Wearing a uniform and weekend working are an integral part of the role.
