Sport & Physical Activity Team Leader
Scale 6 £35,411 - £39,493 per annum (pay award pending)
37 hours per week
Do you have a passion for supporting people to be more active? Are you a creative, strategic thinker keen to tackle embedded health behaviours? We are looking for someone like you to take up the role of Sport & Physical Activity Team Leader.
Leading a team of highly skilled and enthusiastic officers, this role requires a flexible and determined individual to drive through changes in how our services are delivered. You will be responsible for the promotion of and engagement with our innovative Active Blaby service, co-ordinating and liaising with funding partners and also be the lead contact for the Oadby & Wigston Borough Council physical activity service.
In this role, you will work in close partnership with strategic partners, providers of activities and community services to ensure residents will have access to these to improve their health.
Ideally, you will have experience of working in a customer outcomes focused environment, have the ability to lead and motivate a team of professionals and experience of writing and reporting on external funding applications.
