West Berkshire Council is looking to recruit a number of Residential Care Officer’s for Birchwood Care Home which provides residential and nursing care for elderly people living with Dementia. We offer a caring, safe and homely environment in which our residents can live their lives with dignity.

We are looking for a number of Care Officers who, as part of the senior team, can support the Manager and Deputy Manager with the development of the home and provide advice, guidance and leadership to the staff team. The Care Officer will have a hands on role in running shifts, providing care, administering medication and be responsible for supervising and supporting our staff to deliver the best care possible.
