Early Years Pastoral & Community Support Assistant

30.00 Working Hours – 39 Weeks per Year
The children, staff and governors of Eastway Primary School wish to appoint a highly motivated Early Years, Pastoral and Community Support Assistant to join its professional and committed team. The successful applicant will work closely with the Assistant Head-teacher, Operations Manager and other pastoral and office staff to run a busy family centre office.
Key duties will include the organisation and management of systems and processes with relation to whole school attendance, extended provision, early years, administration and to be a ”Community Champion”.
The ideal candidate will have outstanding interpersonal and organisational skills as well as the flexibility to adapt to the challenges of the school day. The ability to be an outstanding role model to our children, work alongside an enthusiastic staff team, and deal professionally with all school stakeholders as well as a range of visitors is essential.
The successful candidate will ideally have strong links with our local community, experience of working in an office or school environment, and be motivated to work autonomously and as part of a team to develop our extended provision and to make our family centre a thriving hub for our community. Professionalism and maintaining confidentiality will be a key feature of the role, alongside reliability, creativity, positivity and enthusiasm.
