Communications Officer
We’re looking for a great all-round communicator, who’ll have the skills and experience needed to hit the ground running when they take on this key role in our busy Communications and Marketing team.
No two days will be the same as you develop plans and provide comms support to keep our staff, members and communities informed and engaged about the Council’s many and varied services/initiatives.
As well as being someone who can spot a great news story, you’ll also have the knowledge and practical skills to effectively deliver important and sometimes complex information and messages to a range of different audiences.
This means you’ll be proactive, curious, good at building relationships, and empathetic.
Of course, you’ll also have great organisational and analytical skills to help you keep multiple projects on target and on track.
This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on a busy, dynamic environment where you will be involved in projects from start to end and where your input will help to make a real difference to people’s lives.
