Civils Contract Officer
A vacancy has arisen within the Property Services Team for a Civils Contract Officer. We will be providing the opportunity to work whilst simultaneously gaining training and experience relevant to the role including NRSWA.
Duties of the Civils Contract Officer:
Including management of jobs from quoting to completion including all aspects consulting with the client’s, costing works and management of operatives on site. Monitoring delivery and performance, maintaining and updating job packs. Dealing with the day-to-day issues and problem solving, responsible for the plant audits, maintaining the skills matrix and reporting progress to the line manager.
Consulting with Warwickshire County Council on works in the local area, and any other duties which sit in the street scene team.
The overall purpose of this role:
To deliver high quality service for the whole of the council and the Rugby area, with a strong customer focus with the emphasis on quality and value. Increasing the sense of community pride in the neighbourhoods, supporting the management team in providing a citizen focused service to create spaces that are pleasant to live in and give the local community a sense of belonging.
The working week consists of 37hrs flexi working (Monday – Friday) but there may be need for occasional work OOH and weekends to meet business needs.
Regular working in adverse conditions could be required with the role split between Town Hall office and site visits for surveys of jobs.
