LSCP Training Support Officer
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to work with professionals from across the Lincolnshire workforce.
Lincolnshire Safeguarding Children Partnership and Lincolnshire Safeguarding Adult Board, are statutory multi-agency boards made up of representatives from the Local Authority, Police, Health Service, Probation Trust, Youth Offending Service, the Voluntary Sector and others.
The vision of the LSCP is that; Children and young people in Lincolnshire are effectively safeguarded, properly supported and their lives improved by all agencies working together.
The aim of Lincolnshire’s Safeguarding Adults Board is to ensure the effective co-ordination of services to safeguard and promote the welfare of adults.
The role
The successful candidate will assist in the delivery of safeguarding training to multi agency partners, contributing to the planning, development and writing of the annual training plan for LSCP and LSAB multi agency training.
This will require travelling across the county, as training is delivered across all Lincolnshire localities. Access to a car and a full, clean driving licence are essential.
About you
Whilst delivering training you will be required to provide expertise, advice and guidance to operational staff, therefore excellent communication skills and understanding of the many and varied areas of the multi-agency partnership are required. Experience in delivering training, having a good knowledge of safeguarding children and/or adults is essential. Due to the sensitive nature of the position, the post holder is required to have the utmost discretion.
