GRADE H - £39,493 to £43,516 per annum (pay award pending)

Will be required to travel to other locations within Erewash Borough Council

Are you an experienced project manager looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to really make a difference in the community by driving service improvement forward?  

This is an exciting and varied role and includes the management of large-scale, multi-stakeholder corporate projects.  This includes working with project leads, senior management and key stakeholders to achieve the council’s objectives with a range of interesting and diverse projects.  You would also be responsible for managing the project budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and overseeing the day-to day project progress.  The first of many important projects include the implementation of a Waste Management IT system and the delivery of a new Council Tax support scheme.  

The right candidate will be expected to lead, manage and motivate the project teams, developing and maintaining agreed project plans and detailed stage plans, applying business case and risk management processes and utilising their expert project management skills and knowledge to meet project objectives.  Experience in delivering projects with an ICT dimension is also essential.  

This is a great opportunity to have a direct impact on improving the services the council provides to the local community as part of its business transformation ambitions.
