Introducing ourselves:

Springbrook Children’s Home provide disabled children aged 6 – 18 years with overnight short breaks. The team provides support and encouragement with independence and social activities whilst the children are in our care.

We are a welcoming and dedicated team who care passionately about children and we are determined to achieve the best outcomes for those we care for. Working at Springbrook is rewarding and has such a positive impact on our children and their families.


Job requirements:

A suitably qualified worker with disability experience and knowledge is required to provide care and support to disabled children during their respite stays at Springbrook.

This is a responsible role and we want someone who can put the best interests of our children first.

We are committed to working together to achieve the best for our children and young people. You will be expected to support colleagues to achieve this and they in turn will support you.

The successful candidates must be flexible, motivated and committed. They must have a passion for improving the lives of disabled children and their families as we do.

Due to the nature of work the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding legislation and appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS).
