Senior Technician
We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Technician within our busy Asset Management team.
You will be responsible for the inspection/assessment of the council's highway network in response to customer and stakeholder enquiries. You will need to determine remedial actions and raise appropriate defects/bill of quantities/orders to the council's highway contractor.
You will also be responsible for the supervision of site work, recording and updating accurate highway asset records. You should be comfortable with the capture and storage of defect and asset information using handheld electronic devices.
You should hold a BTEC Higher National Certificate in Civil Engineering or equivalent, ideally have 3 years’ experience of working within a similar role, and be able to communicate effectively with customers and other stakeholders.
