About Us:

We are on a journey to substantially improve and develop our GIS and BI capabilities. Our Esri ArcGIS Enterprise platform is one cornerstone of our Digital Architecture, and we are now looking for a talented spatial information and BI/MI specialist to strengthen our Data & Development team responsible of providing these services to the council.

Our vision is to take GIS ‘beyond mapping’ and use its capabilities to drive, support and enable our business processes also within operational areas such as Streetcare and Grounds Maintenance. We will develop and integrate our spatial and special information / 3rd party datasets across different domains - this will then be complemented by providing beautiful, intuitive, and informative maps and visualisations to both council service teams and residents.

You will also play important part of developing Business Intelligence and Analytics & Insights solutions including visual, interactive dashboards and reports using tools like PowerBI or ArcGIS Insights together with colleagues across the council in line with the needs of our digital transformation and operational services.

If you are a digital storyteller who loves the world of maps and layers and in general sees the opportunities to use data for collaboration, identifying, monitoring and understanding the environment so that we can manage and respond to the needs of our customers then you may find this role as a great opportunity.
