Teaching Assistant: Grade 4 AAAF5013  

The Russett Learning Trust and Trustees wish to appoint suitably qualified Grade 4 Teaching Assistants to join our hard working and enthusiastic team at the Russett School.

The Russett School is an all aged (2 – 19) special academy providing outstanding education for pupils and young people with, Severe Learning Difficulties, Speech and Language Difficulties and Complex Needs. We are looking for candidates who are committed to the vision and values of the school.

This is an outstanding opportunity for Teaching Assistants who are suitably qualified and experienced with passion and drive to make a difference for pupils and young people with SEN. The Russett School & The Russett Learning Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the school is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are ‘spent’ unless ‘protected’ under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.

Starting Salary: £15,647.22 with the opportunity to work additional INSET days and an optional extra hour per week.

Location: The Russett School, Middlehurst Avenue, Weaverham, Northwich, Cheshire CW8 3BW. 

 Contract: Temporary

Work Pattern: Part Time/Term Time 38 weeks per year.

Hours: 32.5Hours per week, 8.40am to 3.40pm

DBS Check: Enhanced 

Closing Date: Friday 30th June 2023 at 12.00pm
