College Central is a ‘Good’ countywide Pupils Referral Unit with two sites across East Sussex, Eastbourne and Hastings. It provides education to young people who have been, or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream school.
College Central, Eastbourne is seeking to recruit two Cleaners, to be responsible for undertaking all cleaning duties for a set area(s) in the school; ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained. You will be flexible and support colleagues where needed, ensuring the school site is always cleaned to a high standard. We welcome applications from hard working and experienced applicants.
The hours will be worked after school hours, Monday to Friday (starting from 3pm) and 10-15 hours per position is available per position. Working pattern and hours will be discussed at interview and agreed on successful appointment.
Time is allocated during some school holidays in order for a deep clean of the school so the successful candidate will also be expected to work during school holidays (which equates to 5.4 weeks), with some flexibility, however, this can be negotiated on an individual basis.
