Rents and Service Charge Manager
About Us:
We are looking to appoint a motivated and skilled Rents & Service Charge Manager within our newly created Income and Rents Service.
We are dedicated to providing excellent services and improving the quality of life for our residents. We also believe that every penny counts, and we are seeking a skilled and experienced housing professional to join our service.
You will be joining a successful and positive management team, and this role will provide you with an excellent opportunity to shape, design and lead a new rent setting and service charge team.
Your team will be responsible for rent setting and service charge setting for Housing & Estates Services, working closely with our Finance, Income and Home Ownership Services. You will be targeted with ensuring our rents are set correctly and our service charges maximise income.
You will provide effective leadership to motivate and develop your team as well as looking for new ways to develop and improve service to our residents.
You will have Rent and or Service charge knowledge, legislation, regulations and standards relating to rent and service charge setting, with an understanding of how regulatory policy impacts on service charges and rent setting.
As this role will initially be around setting up a new team, experience of successfully developing and implementing a Rent Setting and Service Charge service or processes, would be advantageous.
You will be ICT literate and be confident working with data and embody the values and behaviours of the organisation.
This is a hybrid role with the opportunity to work remotely from home where appropriate. Our office is based at 100 Temple Street which is within walking distance of Bristol Temple Meads railway station.
Interviews will be carried out face to face at 100 Temple Street.
