Salary: Actual Salary for Term Time £17,376 to £19,652 (FTE £19,729 to £22,313)

Church Lawton is an Autism Specific Specialist Free School seeking to appoint an Administration Assistant/Receptionist. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a busy and dynamic team and be part of the school’s journey in establishing excellence in the education of autistic pupils.

To be considered for this role you will need to be highly motivated, professional and possess excellent communication and IT skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across a growing organisation. The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and accuracy, together with the ability to use their initiative. Full training will be given in school systems, however previous school experience would be an advantage but not essential, together with a certain level of financial acumen. Who we are looking for:

We are seeking to appoint outstanding individuals who will have a wide range of skills and experience, who are looking to work in an ambitious and rewarding environment.

You will:

  • Hold a minimum of 3 GCSEs (A*-C), or equivalent, including English Language and Mathematics.
  • Possess excellent literacy, organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Have excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel and Outlook).

 In addition, it is desirable that you hold a Level 3 Business and Administration or equivalent qualification.

Hours of work:

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only). (8.15am–3.45pm preferred)

Normal hours may be varied to meet the changing needs of the school. There may be occasions when additional hours are necessary to meet specific or special requirements.
