We are looking to recruit a dynamic senior surveyor with a proven track record of successful delivery to join our busy team. You will lead on providing property advice for regeneration projects within the Borough of Chesterfield to include the granting of leases and licences to assist the delivery of regeneration schemes and undertake negotiations with external parties on behalf of the Council.

You will bring extensive experience of managing a complex property portfolio to achieve maximum occupancy and financial returns along with  comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the regulations, practices and processes for the management of a diverse property portfolio particularly landlord and tenant law.

You will have a degree in General Practice Surveying, be a Qualified Member of RICS, have the ability to become an RICS Registered Valuer and have a full driving licence. Previous experience of managing people, budgets, complex negotiations and working to tight deadlines is required alongside a can-do attitude to the challenges which may arise. The contract is fixed term for 2 years.
