Full-time (36 hours flexible)
Salary range £36,952 - £61,646 per annum (dependent on experience)
Spelthorne has an excellent opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Contract and Procurement Lawyer to join its busy and friendly in-house legal team.
We are looking for a competent lawyer with experience of dealing with a varied contract workload to support the Council’s fast moving property development strategy, as well as supporting the work of all departments across the authority.
You will provide high quality support and advice to colleagues and officers of the Council as well as providing support and supervision to other members of the team to assist with their learning and development. As a senior member of the Legal Team, you will contribute to the strategic delivery of Legal Services which prides itself in providing excellent client care.
We are looking for a positive, flexible, and self-motivated lawyer who contributes to good team spirit. You may be someone who has excellent contract drafting skills and is looking to step up into your first senior role. The Council will support you in continuing your professional development as well as a wide range of employment benefits including free on-site parking.
This post is identified as a hybrid post supporting both office and home working in line with Spelthorne Borough Council’s policy. The post holder will be required to attend the office in line with any service requirements.
